How is my outdoor spa going to be delivered?

Your new spa will arrive on a wooden pallet with straps to secure it to the pallet. The spa will be wrapped with premium spa wrap to resist scuffs and marks during transit. We ship all spas via lift-gate with curbside delivery only. This means the trucking company will bring the spa to the end of your driveway and lower it to the ground. They are not responsible for moving the spa.

How do I move my spa to my desired location?

How do I keep my spa clean?

When do I need to drain my spa?

Depending on how often the spa is used, it is recommended to drain and refill the spa every four to five months even when using proper water treatment procedures. This helps ensure longevity of the mechanical components in your spa and years of continuous use.

What type of electrical supply do I need for my spa?

All Sierra Spa are both 220V and 120v. The amperage requirement is dependent on the model purchased. Your user manual will list the specific power requirements for your spa. All Sierra Spas require a dedicated electrical power supply. We recommend hiring a local electrical contractor to install the proper electrical supply.

Is there any plumbing required for the spa?

All Sierra Spas are pre-plumbed and require no additional plumbing. You just need to fill the tub with water and turn the spa power on. We also recommend draining and re-filling the spa every 4-5 months to ensure proper maintenance.

Can you place a spa indoors?

Before placing a spa indoors, you should consider the structural requirements required to handle the weight of the spa with water. Many spas will weigh over 1000 lbs. with water. The humidity and condensation that spas produce also require proper ventilation. We recommend you check with your local building department for any indoor spa building codes.

Are there any health risks to using a spa?

While spas provide many health benefits, individuals who suffer from chronic lung disease, heart disease or blood pressure problems should consult a physician before using a spa. Spas are also not recommended for the elderly or for children under the age of 15.
